The Country Residence is of particular historical value and consists of original finishes, materials, and construction that date back to over a century ago, 1892.  This makes our B&B extremely original, fascinating, and refined.

We have created for you a new accommodation born in the midst of a beautiful outdoor environment.  The park of ten thousand square meters contain many types of fruit trees and flowers of particular beauty, such as, myrtle boxwoods, “mostardi” fig trees, persimmons, peaches, and palm.  This natural park is under the governance of national cultural committee as a heritage landscape.

Our ‘casale’ is more than a structure, but has a long history from the human perspective.  A family of historic roots, the farmers Signori Olearo (the grandparents of Simona), began to build the historic country house as they passionately developed the agriculture of the region with various plots of land.  At one the family held many vineyards including the previous mentioned land where the grandfather Alessandro, in part of the dwelling, dedicate himself to livestock husbandry.  He is remembered for raising high quality and highly sought after “Fassone” beef.  Known for their quality, his livestock was coveted by butchers and other breeders.  Through the negotiations and sale he never missed the opportunity of making an excellent business deal.

The fruits of this story are now manifested in the splendid “Country House.” The House of Andrea e Simona is still rich in plants, flower, with a  park that are all carefully curated and cared for.  An exclusive place of natural beauty to admire a sunset in an oasis of absolute peace and tranquility.

The goal of creating a modern charming B&B while maintaining the honest nature and regional characteristics the ‘Casale” brings, gives us great satisfaction.

The structure of comfort, harmony, beauty, and the originality(external and internal) of the location create a receptive environment of the highest quality for our guests.  An ideal place for those looking to escape the chaos of the city.

Set in the charming Lower Monferrato “Camino,” a land and hills protected by UNESCO, the ‘Casale’ is set on a hill with a panoramic view and provides a strategic location for tourist to make various itineraries, food and wine tours, and maximum relaxation that can be recommended by Andrea and Simona.  You can spend your time nearby tin little known places of artistic, cultural, and historical interest, and rare beauty or simply relaxing in the comfort of one of our extremely beautiful and private rooms.  This is a context immersed in silence where you only hear the subtle sounds of nature.  Also remember that a few meters away there is the “former dwelling” museum of the famous painter Colombotto Rosso, a cultural artistic place to visit; the “museum” house represents a stop not to be missed.

Il Casale

The extreme respect of the rustic structures has not prevented adaptation of the rooms to new needs, for example transforming the old stable into a breakfast room; really a successful experiment.

A warm living room, intimate and preserved in its original forms, a symbol of a dimension of rural life, presented here in the photo gallery from three different angles, clearly visible is the supporting architectural structures, with the original pillars, the original rough floor painted, the majestic ceiling pavilion framing the elements of furniture, at the center of the farcical table "fratina" together with the comfortable side benches always in ash wood, at the back of the room, the door of old Spanish wood, leaning against the wall, emerges as a prominent protagonist. It also reproduces one of the most legendary works of art, the first installations in the history of art, in a size of 2 metres and 20 by 62 centimetres. Today it is kept at the Philadelphia Museum, the last work by the French Dadaist Marcel Duchamp, the most shocking artist of the 20th century, the old door that transports the visitor out of its original context dating back to 1927 "into the ancient residence of the artist "La Porte 11 Rue Larrey Paris". The old cast iron stove, the old chest with flower pots between the furniture of the 800 and the various historical tools of agriculture of the time that can only arouse attention for their grandeur and key utility that covered for importance in the work of the land and the management of livestock, perfectly preserved cover the floor around the table the manger of oxen, the anklets to tie the horses! the Bravaliur, the 'plow "L'eicharas" is a special tool made of larch or chestnut wood used at the time in the hilly area where the loads could not be transported on wagons; furnishings that together fit in with perfect, refined but not forced coherence as a whole.
